移民を狙った就職関連の詐欺に注意

こういうのはカナダではそれほど珍しいことでもないので気をつけましょう。

"Work scam targets immigrants"
...
They initially sold me the dream of being able to help me get a job within 90 days at a salary of around $50,000 per annum, and they would charge $5,100 (plus tax) in advance for their services.
...
With my dissatisfaction at the service I have received, and that they have not delivered on what they promised me, I complained to them. Rather than attempt to work through the problems with me, their approach was one that I felt was intimidating and humiliating. They started to create excuses that I was not “ready” to be introduced to their network yet.
...
As this company appears to target new and vulnerable immigrants, who don’t have any network or any knowledge about Canada’s legal system and business practices, I want to alert all new immigrants not to be fooled and misled into this kind of service.
Better Business Bureauで会社自体の信頼度チェックを行ったり、それ以外だと学校に行くのを薦めてます。(やはり名の通ってる学校だとだまされることが少ないはず)

My advice is to check with the Better Business Bureau into the claims and credentials of the company before signing a contract with them. Moreover, going to a college or university to get the skills and education that is suitable to local job market is a clever investment.
